Paediatricians
WhatsApp token booking for paediatricians
At a children’s clinic, the person booking is almost never the patient. Glide is built for that. A parent books on WhatsApp for their child, with the child’s name and age, and waits at home with a live link instead of in a room full of other sick children.
Parents book for their child
Glide asks who the token is for. A parent can book for one child, then for a sibling, from the same phone. Each child gets their own token with their own name and age, so the doctor sees the right details.
A parent who usually brings the child for the same reason can say "same as last time", and Glide looks it up from the last visit.
Under 12 goes to the paediatrician first
In a clinic with both a paediatrician and a general physician, a child under 12 is placed with the paediatrician. The general physician only stands in when no paediatrician is in that day. For a newborn, only the paediatrician sees a sick visit, and the general physician may stand in only for vaccination.
From 12 to 17, either doctor can see the child. Patients 18 and over never go to the paediatrician, so your list stays children only.
Vaccination days and sick visits
A vaccination visit and a child with a high fever take different amounts of the doctor’s time. Glide learns how long your paediatrician takes for each kind of reason, and also notices when visits for very young children run longer, once there are enough visits to show it.
Parents get a WhatsApp message when they are 3 away and another when it is their turn, so they can arrive with the child just in time.
Never medical advice
Glide only books. It never comments on symptoms. If a message looks like an emergency, it tells the parent to call 108 or go to the nearest hospital emergency.
What you get
Everything else Glide does
Booking on WhatsApp
Patients book in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu. No app to install. They scan your poster or find your clinic by name, area or location.
The right doctor for the reason
Glide reads the reason in the patient’s own words and books a doctor who sees that kind of problem. The patient sees both before confirming.
A live place in the queue
A live link that updates every minute, a WhatsApp message when they are 3 away, and another when it is their turn.
A calm front desk
The Today screen shows every doctor’s queue and walk-ins. Weekly sessions, one-day changes and leave live in the doctors’ calendar. When a doctor is late, every patient is told.
