General clinics
WhatsApp token booking for general clinics
A general clinic sees everything: fevers, coughs, BP and sugar reviews, a child with a cold, someone who needs a certificate. Glide takes the booking on WhatsApp, reads the reason, and puts the patient with a doctor who can see it.
The family doctor sees most reasons
Fever, cold, cough, stomach upsets, pain and regular BP or sugar reviews go to your general physician. If you have more than one, Glide places the patient with the one who can see them soonest, so the load stays even. A patient who wants a particular doctor can say so before confirming.
If your clinic also has visiting specialists, reasons for them go to them. A knee injury goes to the orthopaedic doctor, a skin rash can go to the dermatologist, a child’s fever to the paediatrician.
Children, when you also have a paediatrician
When a parent books for a child under 12, Glide places them with the paediatrician first. If no paediatrician is in that day, the general physician sees them. From 12 to 17, either doctor can. Adults never go to the paediatrician.
Walk-ins and bookings in one queue
Plenty of patients at a general clinic will still walk in. The desk adds them on the Today screen with a name, age and reason, and they join the same queue as the WhatsApp bookings. Expected times for everyone update by themselves.
Each doctor has their own weekly sessions. Change one day, add an extra session, or mark leave, and patients already booked are moved or told.
Honest waiting times
A BP review is usually quick. A new patient with several complaints is not. Glide learns from finished visits how long each doctor takes for each kind of reason, and uses that for every expected time. Patients only ever see the time, never the reasoning.
What you get
Everything else Glide does
Booking on WhatsApp
Patients book in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu. No app to install. They scan your poster or find your clinic by name, area or location.
The right doctor for the reason
Glide reads the reason in the patient’s own words and books a doctor who sees that kind of problem. The patient sees both before confirming.
A live place in the queue
A live link that updates every minute, a WhatsApp message when they are 3 away, and another when it is their turn.
A calm front desk
The Today screen shows every doctor’s queue and walk-ins. Weekly sessions, one-day changes and leave live in the doctors’ calendar. When a doctor is late, every patient is told.
