Orthopaedic clinics
WhatsApp token booking for orthopaedic clinics
Waiting is hardest for orthopaedic patients. Someone with a fresh fracture, a bad back or a knee that will not bend should not sit on a bench for an hour. With Glide, they book on WhatsApp, wait at home, and come in when they are nearly next.
Fractures and plasters stay with the orthopaedic doctor
Glide reads the reason for every booking. Plaster checks, dressings, injuries and fracture follow-ups go only to an orthopaedic doctor, never to a general physician or a physiotherapist, even when the orthopaedic doctor is busier.
Knee, back, neck, shoulder and joint pain go to the orthopaedic doctor first. If none is in that day and your clinic has a general physician, the general physician can see them.
Waiting from home
Each patient gets a live link that updates every minute, a message when they are 3 away and another when it is their turn. For someone who needs a lift or an auto to get to the clinic, knowing the time in advance matters.
A family member can book for the patient. Glide asks who the token is for, so the right name and age reach the doctor.
When surgery runs over
Orthopaedic doctors often come to the clinic after a morning in theatre. If they will be late, the desk marks it once. Glide moves every expected time back and tells each waiting patient on WhatsApp. If the doctor cannot come at all, patients can be moved to another doctor or cancelled, and each one is told.
What you get
Everything else Glide does
Booking on WhatsApp
Patients book in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu. No app to install. They scan your poster or find your clinic by name, area or location.
The right doctor for the reason
Glide reads the reason in the patient’s own words and books a doctor who sees that kind of problem. The patient sees both before confirming.
A live place in the queue
A live link that updates every minute, a WhatsApp message when they are 3 away, and another when it is their turn.
A calm front desk
The Today screen shows every doctor’s queue and walk-ins. Weekly sessions, one-day changes and leave live in the doctors’ calendar. When a doctor is late, every patient is told.
